Britt Dush

Britt is a first year Masters of Divinity student at Candler School of Theology and is currently serving as Glenn's Teaching Parish Clergy Intern. She graduated from Central Methodist University in May 2023 with a Bachelors of Arts in Religion and Church Leadership & Comparative Religion and Philosophy with honors. Her honors thesis in undergraduate was "Epistemology and the Wesleyan Quadrilateral". She's more than happy to give you a copy!

Britt was born in Park Hills, MO and calls that her hometown despite having to move around some in her early years since she is a pastor's kid. She is in the process of becoming an ordained elder in the Missouri Conference of the United Methodist Church. She completed the Missouri Conference's Local Pastor Licensing School also in May 2023. Britt has spent much of her life since high school working in a few different churches doing everything from A/V technology to church administrative work to being an interim director of ministries. Her calling is to local church as a pastor but also sees herself having a continuing relationship with higher education institutions. She sees the need for more pastors that are as concerned with practical ministry as they are with theological academia and has discerned that is her role to fill. After completing her Masters of Divinity from Candler, she is looking into a place to receive a Doctorate of Theology.
