Cub Scouts Pack 6
Cub Scouts Pack 6 was sponsored by Glenn from 1935-2023 and is currently sponsored by T18/P6 4Ever Inc. Den meetings and activities such as community service, camping, and the Pinewood Derby are held on various days and times at Glenn Memorial Church and surrounding locations. Scout Troop 18 (Boys)
Scout Troop 18’s charter goes back to 1920, making it one of the first troops in DeKalb County. Glenn sponsored Troop 18 from 1925-2023. Troop 18 is now sponsored by T18/P6 4Ever Inc. and conducts activities at Glenn Memorial Church and surrounding locations. Troop 18 scouts look forward to weekly meetings and 10 to 12 outings a year, including activities such as camping, canoeing, hiking, skiing, and more plus on-going leadership development and community service. A child must be 11 years old and in the 5th grade to join the troop. Troop meetings are held on Tuesday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Scout Hut behind the Glenn Youth and Activities Building (1669 North Decatur Road). Scout Troop 618 (Girls)
Troop 618, chartered in 2026, is Glenn's newest Scouting troop also sponsored by T18/P6 4Ever Inc. Troop 618 is open to girls with weekly meetings, 10 to 12 outings each year — camping, canoeing, hiking, skiing, and more — and ongoing leadership development and community service. To join, a child must be 11 years old and in the 5th grade. Meetings take place Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Scout Hut behind the Glenn Youth and Activities Building (1669 North Decatur Road).
