Can you imagine leaving your home country and seeking legal asylum in a foreign country with virtually no possessions and where you know few if any people? Glenn recently was awarded a Mustard Seed Grant from UMCOR that will allow us to support asylum seekers at the Atlanta airport.

Maybe Christmas isn’t a stop along the way at all, but rather the way itself, the ground beneath our feet and the star by which we chart our course.

It was a Sunday evening, and I’m sure I was at least as tired as the people who earlier in the day had sat through my sermon. But tired as I was, I still had to attend the opening session of our District Ministers Retreat. Did I mention I was tired?
