Sunday Services

Services at Glenn have historically featured excellence in preaching as well as choral and instrumental music. Our worship schedule includes services at 8:30 a.m. in The Little Chapel, 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary, and The Gathering at 5:00 p.m. in the Ward Fellowship Hall.

Live streaming - we currently are unable to livestream morning services.

8:30 a.m.

This service is a smaller, less formal service for early risers. The chapel service feels like a gathering of a close-knit family of believers. We celebrate Holy Communion at this service on the first Sunday of each month.

Between the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services, we offer a time for breakfast and fellowship at Holy Grounds Café in the Ward Fellowship Hall from 9:15 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Stop by!

11:00 a.m.

While larger and more formal, this service in the Sanctuary remains warm and friendly. It primarily centers upon traditional music, liturgy, prayers, and creeds. We celebrate Holy Communion at this service on the first Sunday of each month.

The Gathering

Glenn’s Sunday afternoon worship service is casual and family-friendly. Weekly worship is at 5:00 p.m. in the Ward Fellowship Hall and communion is celebrated each Sunday. Contact worship pastor Rev. Brent Huckaby.

Holy Communion

United Methodists celebrate Holy Communion (also called the Lord’s Supper or Eucharist) with an open table; all are welcome to receive Communion with us. The sacramental elements at all worship services are grape juice and gluten-free bread. Communion is served weekly at The Gathering (5:00 p.m.) and on the first Sunday of each month at the morning services (8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.).

Sunday, September 16

8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. - Rev. Mark Westmoreland, preaching

Sermon Series -- Being Good When Good Isn't Easy: The Wisdom of James for Messy Times
You’re a Christian? So what? What difference does our faith make in our daily relationships and conversations? How should we treat each other and our neighbors, rich and poor? How should we speak, and when should we just be quiet? The Apostle James has asked for a bit of our time; he has some words of advice. James might very well be the original Methodist. He begins with a profound faith in the power and grace of God, then he gets practical. Over the next few weeks, we’ll see what he has to say about finding and sharing grace in a messy world.
