United Methodist Women (UMW)
United Methodist Women is a national organization whose purpose is to develop supportive and creative fellowship, foster spiritual growth, advocate for social justice, and expand concepts of missions through participation in the global ministries of the church. The collective members of UMW raise nearly $25 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world.
Glenn has seven UMW “circles,” listed below, which are small groups of women who meet monthly for fellowship, study, prayer, and discussions. Quarterly, the members of all the circles are invited to meet together for a business meeting and special speaker. All are welcome. Contact UMW President, Erin Hurst.
Are you a member of a UMW Circle? If not, please consider joining! See below for our many options of time and interest. A full directory of UMW members can be found here.

Now thru April 13

Save-the-date for Good Neighbor Day 2017: September 9
UMW will be making Baby Layette Kits for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief). This will be a similar project to last year, but we will be collecting baby/infant items this time. We will need help making baby sweaters, so any crafty volunteers that can sew/knit/crochet please contact Erin Hurst if you want to help so we can get started. This event will take place in the fall, but we need to start making sweaters now.
