Purpose of Organization
Trinity Table is the oldest, large-scale, Sunday-only soup kitchen in metro Atlanta. The kitchen is located at Trinity United Methodist Church in downtown Atlanta.
Volunteer opportunities
Each year on a specific day we prepare and serve soup and sandwiches to approximately 400 homeless people. The guests sit eight to a table while two volunteers serve bowls of soup, baskets of bread, butter, crackers, and refreshing beverages. Guests are given the opportunity to offer a blessing themselves or receive one from the volunteers.

Trinity House
Address and Contact
Purpose of Organization
Trinity House–Big Bethel is a residential transitional program designed to serve homeless men (many with criminal backgrounds) with issues regarding drug dependency. As a result of Trinity House-Big Bethel’s program, 50% of those completing the program enter permanent housing. This ministry prepares homeless men to live independently by:
- Discovering and embracing their spirituality
- Encouraging the cessation of drug use and other dysfunctional behaviors
- Obtaining and maintaining employment
- Establishing savings significant to them (usually $1,000 or more)
- Achieving individually-defined goals
- Paying rent and other monthly bills
Volunteer opportunities
Trinity House needs meals each night for up to 36 men. Volunteers have the opportunity to eat with the residents. Once a month volunteers from Glenn go as a group to serve dinner.
