Loving God, Loving Neighbor

Intown Collaborative Ministries (ICM)

Preparing Cans of Food
The Vision of Intown is to transform the neighborhood we serve, seeing that the hungry are fed and the homeless are housed. We believe that a healthy neighborhood is one where residents, businesses, faith communities, and non-profits, come together to serve each other for the benefit of all. The ministry is a cooperative of faith congregations in zip codes 30306 and 30307.
We provide a range of comprehensive services to our neighbors:
Heading Home Program - Intensive support services are provided to a small number of individuals, accompanying them through every step from shelters and the streets to stable housing and supports.
Emergency Food Pantry - The food pantry is located at Druid Hills United Methodist Church 1200 Ponce de Leon Ave NE and opens every Saturday morning at 11:00.  Please call the Glenn Curch Office to be put on the list for food pickup or to be delivered. Donations are accepted for the food pantry at any time. They can be dropped off at the Druid Hills UMC office Monday-Friday, 9:30 am - 3:30 pm.  For more info on donating food or volunteering, click here.
Intown Clothes - Intown Clothes serves men and women needing clothes for interviews, work, or emergencies and are also open to the community for affordable clothes by donation. Intown Clothes is in need of clothing donations and volunteers. Clothes are sorted at Druid Hills Baptist Church and then taken to the Intown Clothing Center at Druid Hills Presbyterian for sale or distribution. To volunteer, to refer a guest or for more information: or 678-609-3186.  We continue to serve an average of 17 to 20 men and women each Monday from 10am to 12pm.
While we welcome any of your donations, we can especially use the following items:

For men: causal pants and jeans sizes 30 to 38 especially black and dark colors, white or black socks, underwear all sizes, XL shirts, white dress shirts all sizes, shoes sizes 11 and up

For women:  underwear and bra all sizes

Donations can be brought to Druid Hills United Methodist Church while the office is open (10am to 2pm). For large donations, please call Allen Jones at 404-216-6206 to arrange a time to receive them. Thanks again for helping our neighbors.
