Purpose of Organization
The Living Room was founded in 1995 as a program of Trinity Community Ministries. The purpose of this program is to help people with HIV/AIDS transition from homelessness or unstable housing to appropriate, permanent housing. Since its inception, TLR has served over 9,000 households. This ministry helps clients identify housing opportunities, obtain housing, and maintain housing.
Volunteer Opportunities
Donations of furniture or “welcome baskets” containing items that are needed to start a new home are always appreciated. Volunteer help is also needed in the office with the newsletter and other clerical work.
