Purpose of Organization

Trinity House–Big Bethel is a residential transitional program designed to serve homeless men (many with criminal backgrounds) with issues regarding drug dependency.  As a result of Trinity House-Big Bethel’s program, 50% of those completing the program enter permanent housing.  This ministry prepares homeless men to live independently by:
  • Discovering and embracing their spirituality
  • Encouraging the cessation of drug use and other dysfunctional behaviors
  • Obtaining and maintaining employment
  • Establishing savings significant to them (usually $1,000 or more)
  • Achieving individually-defined goals
  • Paying rent and other monthly bills

Volunteer opportunities

Trinity House needs meals each night for up to 36 men.  Volunteers have the opportunity to eat with the residents.  Once a month volunteers from Glenn go as a group to serve dinner.
