Singing the Hallelujah Chorus

Easter Egg Hunt

We celebrate Easter with duplicate services in the sanctuary at 8:30 and 11:00 AM. Both services end with an invitation for members of the congregation to join the Chancel Choir in singing Handel’s magnificent “Hallelujah Chorus."
Beginning at 10:30 in the sanctuary, Dr. Timothy Albrecht, Glenn and Emory University Organist, and Christopher Martin, who holds the position of Principal Trumpet with the Chicago Symphony, present half an hour of sacred music composed for organ and trumpet.
We invite all ages to bring a few buds of fresh flowers - whether from a blooming tree at home or a special Easter gift - to decorate the Easter Cross in the Sanctuary during both worship services.
