Service at Glenn

Jesus calls all of his followers to love God and to love neighbor through humble service. At Glenn there is a wide variety of ways to get involved in both local and international volunteer service. These opportunities and activities are open to everyone - many including children. So consider yourself needed, invited, and welcome!

Monthly Days of Service

In 2017, the Service Teams at Glenn are trying something new - intentional monthly days of service. Open to all ages, we hope these service offerings remind us to always be engaged in working on behalf of others in our midst:

May Days of Service

Friday, May 19 & Sunday, May 28
Help to purchase, prepare, and serve lunch at Action Ministries’ Women's Community Kitchen on May 19. Volunteers are needed to prep the food (8-10am) and then transport the food (10-10:30am) to Grace UMC. We also need at least 6 people to serve at Grace from 10:30am - 12:30pm.

We will prepare 200 sack lunches for Trinity Table on May 28. Join us for a sack lunch making activity on the afternoon of Friday, May 26 (great fun for kids who are out of school!) or deliver your lunches to Glenn no later than 9am on Sunday, May 28.
