The Glenn Memorial Easter celebration includes the following events and services each year:
Lenten Small Groups
Join a small group for study at various times and locations through throughout the lenten season leading up to Easter.
Egg-cellent Saturday
Eggcellent Saturday is Glenn’s annual community-wide Easter Egg Hunt, featuring an egg hunt, games, face painting, bouncies, food and more.
Maundy Thursday Service
On Maundy Thursday we offer a special service of Holy Communion, remembering the Last Supper of Jesus.
Good Friday Service
On Good Friday we offer a special service prayer, song, Scripture readings, and meditation.
Easter Sunday
Sunrise Service
Under the Oaks on the Front Lawn - Join with our Emory Wesley Fellowship students for a short service (about 30 minutes) that will "tell the old, old Story" through song, Scripture, meditation, and prayer as we greet the rising of the sun and our Savior Jesus the Christ. Casual dress.
8:30am - Worship
In the Sanctuary - A traditional Easter service that ends with an invitation for members of the congregation to join the Chancel Choir in singing Handel’s magnificent “Hallelujah Chorus."
Easter Sunday Brunch
All are invited to attend in the Fellowship Hall for a special time of fellowship and food. Bring your favorite brunch treat to share (no nuts please). Easter crafts will be available for children and nursery provided.
Sing-a-long in the Amphitheater
Bring a blanket/beach towel to sit with your family!
11:00am – Worship

A half hour of sacred pre-service music is provided by Dr. Timothy Albrecht, Glenn and Emory University Organist, trumpeters Christopher Martin, with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Michael Martin, with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and timpanist Todd Mueller.
